About the Home-Mandate Specification
A small, open project. It belongs to nobody, so that everybody can use it.
Principles
- NeutralNo vendor decides alone. Every implementation is treated the same.
- ReadableA mandate must be understandable without technical knowledge.
- Safe by defaultAnything not allowed is denied.
- OpenText, code and discussions are public.
Who looks after it
The specification is maintained by Markus Mazurczak as maintainer. He looks after the text, the conformance cases and the releases. Decisions are made in public in the Home-Mandate organisation on GitHub(opens another website in a new tab), where anyone can propose changes. The project still belongs to nobody.
How changes happen
- Issue Someone describes a problem or idea.
- Spec A change to the text is proposed and discussed.
- Test Conformance cases show the new behaviour.
- Code Reference implementation and tools follow.
